Mixed-Use Development
Program: 113 apartments with 2,650m2 commercial space
Client: Ballymore
Phase: start design 2011

This building forms part of the first Phase of the Brentford High Street masterplan, co-authored alongside AHMM and Glenn Howells Architects. The masterplan is driven by a heritage strategy that reinstates historic yards and reconnects Brentford High Street to the river Brent and inland waterways to the south.

The new, mixed-use building houses a 1,750m2 anchor food store along with over 900m2 of high street retail and independent local shops. On the upper levels, 113 flats are located around a communal courtyard in blocks varying between five, six and seven storeys high. Construction is expected to commence mid-2013.
