Maccreanor Lavington was commissioned as part of a large multidisciplinary team to develop the design for a mixed use residential, commercial and infant school project (for children aged 3 to 8 years) at Liddell Road in early 2014. This project is to be funded by the innovative Community Investment Programme (CIP).

The proposals for the Liddell Road site comprise a 4FE infant school, residential use of around 100 units, and commercial space up to 4000sqm with associated high quality public space. It is the masterplanís ambition to fulfil Camdenís vision of a new place in West Hampstead for children and families to live, learn, work and play, by structuring the new development around the public realm proposed, integrating it with its surroundings and enhancing them, benefiting not only future residents but existing neighbours.
