Projects shortlisted for Housing Design Award 2021

Both Ruby Street and St Helen’s Gardens have been shortlisted for the Housing Design Awards 2021.

The Ruby Street project sits off the Old Kent Road and forms part of the ambitious regeneration of the area. It achieved planning in October 2019 and will comprise 111 new homes, with over 2000sqm of light industrial and flexible workspace, retail and café uses and the reprovision of an existing church and community facility.

St Helen’s Garden sits in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and is based on the traditional mansion block that lie nearby and within the North Kensington Conservation Area. Eight new mixed tenure homes sit within the 4 storey villa forms a small part of the Council’s new homes programme which aims to deliver 600 homes, 300 of which will be affordable.
