Ibstock Place School Refectory features in new publication, The Sustainable City

A new book, The Sustainable City by journalist Harriet Thorpe features the National RIBA Award winning Ibstock Place School Refectory.

The book examines various pioneering projects across London from timber high-rises to experimental flat-pack offices, and is a celebration of the urban architecture that helps Londoners to live, work, play and share resources in a way that benefits not just the city, but our entire planet.

Project Architects Loretta Gentilini and Thomas Ormerod speak to Harriet about the decorative timber dining room which allows hundreds of pupils to dine together.

The book is carbon neutral.
