Ibstock Place School refectory in the spotlight

Ibstock Place School features in the AJ specification magazine. The Architects Journal AJ Specification magazine features the interiors of the timber school refectory in the latest issue looking at walls, ceilings and partitions.
We used timber for the project as both a structural element and as a finish for its low carbon qualities, visual warmth and character. The design was developed in recognition of the importance of lunchtimes in supporting pupils social and emotional development.
