Kevin Logan to join Architects Declare Steering Panel

Kevin Logan has been chosen to join Architects Declare steering group, a network of architectural practices dedicated to addressing climate change and biodiversity. The organisation was launched in the UK in May 2019. It is now part of Construction Declares which operates in more than 20 countries and Maccreanor Lavington was among a founding signatory practice.

Kevin is one of the seven new architects who will join the eight existing members to help drive change and act as a collaborative voice for the industry.

Director of our Urban Studio  Kevin Logan said: ‘I wish to contribute towards the debate, and create resources, of the group to deliver the fundamental changes needed to secure our medium and long-term human sustainability. I want to bolster and expand the debate to encompass the meaningful and sustaining lived experience of communities, through adding quality and the integration value.’

The announcement comes at the start of London Climate Action Week encouraging businesses to take steps towards net zero with a new toolkit and course, Climate for SMEs: 4 steps to action.
