New London Architecture Awards shortlists four Maccreanor Lavington projects

The NLA (New London Architecture) has shortlisted four Maccreanor Lavington projects at their annual awards which celebrate the very best architectural projects in a number of sectors across the capital.

Supported by the Mayor of London, New London Awards celebrate London, uniquely recognising built and unbuilt schemes – those that are making and will make a positive contribution to their surroundings.

A prestigious international jury of architecture and urban design experts, advised by a team of London-based expert assessors has shortlisted projects within 14 categories and 6 special prizes including the Mayor’s Prize.

Ensign Court, a built mixed-use development in the Tower Hamlets has been shortlisted for a Housing category award along with Besson Street in Lewisham which has received planning approval and the York Way Estate, the integration of 4 new buildings into the existing York Way Estate to provide new social rented homes, a re-placement community centre, new estates office, and extensive landscape improvements.

Finally, Fellowship Square Phase 2 which we collaborated on along with Gort Scott and Metropolitan Workshop has also been recognised. It is a new neighbourhood and cultural centre under construction in the heart of Waltham Forest. Providing leisure, entertainment, retail and learning spaces, 433 homes, a regenerated civic centre, and enhanced public realm.
