Urban Studio chosen to help shape the future look & design of Birkenhead

Our Urban Studio was been chosen following a procurement process to assist in devising a comprehensive Design Guide and Public Realm Guide for the town as it moves towards the next major step in ambitious regeneration plans.

The Design Guide and Public Realm Guide for Birkenhead is a key part of the delivery strategy of the Birkenhead 2040 Regeneration Framework – a twenty-year plan which sets out the most radical proposals for the town since the 1947 Town Plan.

It is anticipated that the guide will be adopted as a Supplementary Planning Documents following adoption of the Local Plan. The Public Realm Strategy will ensure that individual projects are designed to a high and consistent quality and approach across Birkenhead
