We support the youth focused design competition, The People’s Pavilion 2023

We are sponsoring the exciting design competition, the People’s Pavilion 2023, encouraging young makers of the future to develop new skills through designing and creating in their city.

The venture which was set up by ‘Beyond The Box’ consultants, aims to reach out to all boroughs in the capital and ignite the creative skills of the young community. This year the competition is open to young East Londoners with the aim to encourage young diverse and creative minds to get involved.

The design team voted for by the public will win an all expenses paid study-trip to Italy to explore the Venice Biennale and the British Pavilion, designed this year by Meneesha Kellay (last year’s People’s Pavilion curatorial advisor), Jayden Ali, Joseph Henry and Sumitra Upham.

The winning pavilion with the most votes will then be built with the support of a crowdfunding campaign, and followed by a cultural festival working in collaboration with the young East Londoners take place at the People’s Pavilion.
