Dominic Milner
Dominic graduated with first class honors from the University of Bath and then completed the Diploma in Architecture at Cambridge University in 1999. He was awarded the RIBA Wessex Prize, RIBA Bronze Medal ‘runner up’, was recipient of the John Sergeant Award for best student drawing and the SOM student scholarship.
He has over 20 years’ experience designing and constructing a broad range of building types at every design stage and every scale. This encompasses cultural, commercial and conservation projects, but especially urban residential architecture.
He joined Maccreanor Lavington in 2008 following a year-long sabbatical on a construction site which honed his technical knowledge and pragmatism but most importantly his appreciation and respect for contractors and tradesmen.
Since then he has led projects at pre-planning, production and construction stages for numerous large mixed-use residential developments in and around London. Many of these projects received industry awards and importantly many of the commissioning clients came back. Clients, consultants and colleagues tend to enjoy working with Dominic. He is warm but professional and determined that every project should maintain our high standards.
Dominic is a champion of sustainable design with experience of designing Passivhaus certified homes and delivering carbon neutral CfSH Level 5 homes. He will lead the practice to meet the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge.
