Our work seeks to guide how to best utilise the South Quay site, which lies immediately south of Canary Wharf . Incorporating a detailed analysis and the potential for high density development to create a residential community with social infrastructure and public realm.

Masterplan principles

A Deliverable Masterplan

The masterplan process produced a number of density options, coupled with typological and character references. These were developed through the design of typical urban blocks which could then be applied to the wider masterplan. A major factor in ensuring the designs would be deliverable was to ensure supporting transport and social infrastructure would be able to support each of the densities proposed. This was achieved by applying an overarching strategy for the entire masterplan, whilst simultaneously producing masterplan principles for the urban blocks.
