City Making: a collaborative process

30.06.2023

Maccreanor Lavington’s Richard Lavington, Ruaridh Inverarity, Kevin Logan and Jane MacCuish were delighted to be in Glasgow for this, the first of our City Making series, a curated set of talks, co-hosted with New Practice. The evening presentations were held at Many Studios, a creative space within the city that houses an ecosystem of architects, designers, artists and creatives.

Conversation, dialogue, and debate about our cities is such a vital component of the collaborative process and Tamsie Thomson was an excellent Chair, generously drawing out the main themes from the presentations by;
Kevin Logan – Maccreanor Lavington
Paola Pasino – Glasgow City Council
Marc Cairns – New Practice
Isla Jackson – Civic Engineers
Deborah Freeman Watt – Landsec U+I

It was good to hear from audience, from across the private and public sector discuss the role of partnership in bringing forward transformative change.

We are grateful to all our speakers for their time, energy and commitments to making this event such a success. A special thank you to our co-hosts New Practice for their generosity, and to Civic Engineers for helping shape the event with us.
