Celebrating two RIBA London Award wins

Ibstock Place School Refectory and Barts Square have been awarded a regional RIBA Award 2022.

Ibstock Place School has already won a number of architectural and design awards since completion, and a RIBA London Award is an outstanding /achievement. The RIBA  judges commented: ‘The Maccreanor Lavington project team should also be commended for the extensive work undertaken to protect the existing natural heritage of the site, including mature London Plane trees, as well as adding to the ecological value through additional habitat creation’.

Barts Square also collected an award. The 3.2 acre development in the City of London creates new spaces and pedestrian landscapes. We worked with lead architects Sheppard Robson, and along with Piercy & Company we have each designed façades that introduce additional layers of richness to the overall masterplan.

The schemes now move to the longlist for RIBA National Awards.
