It’s Better Together – Touring London by Brompton

04.10.2021

Study tours have been sadly missed during the lockdown period and have always been part of our practice DNA. It was a pleasure on Friday to cycle the city on a Brompton tour of our projects. We have been delighted over lockdown to welcome new colleagues and the study day offered an opportunity to collectively reflect on the work of the practice.

We attracted a lot of attention as we cycled en masse as we gathered looking up and around at our Royal Albert Wharf Project, our hotel cluster in the Royal Docks, our mixed-use developed Porters Edge in Canada Water, Grange Primary School in Southwark, housing at South Gardens in Elephant Park, Blackfriars Circus tower and adjacent offices and homes, Garden Halls in Bloomsbury and our King’s Cross development of residential, offices and extra care.

We have been proud of all that we achieved during lockdown, but were reminded of the pleasure of experiencing the city, the joy of architectural debate and discussion and above all enjoying the company of colleagues. Next time we look forward to exploring more with our colleagues in Rotterdam.
