Blazej Czuba

Blazej joined Maccreanor Lavington in 2012 and has extensive residential and masterplanning experience along with knowledge of the local planning system. As an urban designer Blazej managed Maccreanor Lavington’s team for the masterplanning work for OPDC at Old Oak Common and was responsible for the studio’s Meridian Water Masterplan. Most recently he has been working on a masterplan for the regeneration of the Aylesbury Estate and a planning framework for Low Hall, Waltham Forest.

Blazej recently returned from a sabbatical where he joined St Albans District Council as their Principal Urban Design Officer.  In this role he published several design-led policy documents, set up the St Albans Design Review Panel and managed collaborative masterplanning of a many strategic sites.

In 2019 he was awarded the Scholar’s Prize in Architecture from the British School in Rome. He teaches architecture at a postgraduate level at the London School of Architecture.
